Exploring the various open-source human genome sharing initiatives
COMPARE will be represented at the Genomes, Environments and Traits (GET) Conference in Vienna, Austria, 17-19 September 2015.
The GET Conference brings together leading thinkers to discuss how we measure and understand people and their traits. For the past five years, this event has explored the frontiers of understanding about human biology and serves as an annual forum to debate the technical, commercial, and societal impacts.
Esther Pronker of RIVM (WP12) will attend to explore with the various open-source human genome sharing initiatives, and deliver a short 10-minute presentation on COMPARE, with a focus on the barriers to sharing WGS and metadata.
Esther expects to gain insightful information on how the PEARL topics are dealt with, and - at the same time - take the discussion of those same PEARL barriers to the next level.
