GMI 8 is being organised by the China CDC and the GMI Steering Committee. The meeting will be held at the Sunworld Dynasty Hotel in Beijing11-13 May 2015.
COMPARE is a collaboration of founding members of the Global Microbial Identifier (GMI) initiative and institutions with hands-on experience in outbreak detection and response.
With our close relationship with GMI, COMPARE is pleased to promote the 8th meeting of the GMI initiative, which will take place for the first time outside of Europe and North America.
The meeting represents the GMI drive towards a global debate about the future use of Next Generation Sequencing (NGS) in support of microbiology, public health and one health.
The deadline for registration is 20 April 2015.
